The Isles at Bayview is a large master-planned development located in a quiet section of Parrish where you can still find low-density neighborhoods. There are three builders currently developing gated communities here: Maronda, David Weekley, and Centex. This project broke ground in 2021 with single-family homes priced well below the median market prices around Parrish; although property values have been appreciating in recent years, they are still more affordable compared to other gated communities in the area.
To prevent a cookie-cutter effect, the lead developers of The Isles have selected various home collections inspired by American Craftsman, Coastal, Caribbean, and Mediterranean design. To get an idea of pricing, a new Centex Chapman model with three bedrooms and two bathrooms built on a floor plan measuring 1,662 square feet was listed below $375K in March 2024. If you are looking for nice views right outside your door or lanai, The Isles has six large lakes lined with new homes.
Each of the three sections completed as of 2024 featured recreation centers with a swimming pool, clubhouse, exercise room, and picnic areas. As more new sections open, Centex plans to develop a lakefront town center. The newly-opened Gateway Commons shopping plaza, which is anchored by a Publix supermarket, is just down the road. You can choose between the beaches at St. Petersburg and Anna Maria Island; they are respectively 25 and 21 miles away, close enough to visit each weekend.
