May 4 – Florida Man Behind Bars After Shoving Girlfriend in Dispute Over Egg Rolls
Imagine landing in jail over an egg roll dispute! Having to call the cops over an argument you can handle is already unhinged but it’s even crazier when such petty issues as egg rolls are the reason for your incarceration.
A Florida man found himself on the way to the police station after he allegedly shoved a woman for not allowing her into her house to eat egg rolls. The woman, according to the police, had prepared the egg rolls and ready to give the man from her door. However, the drunken man insisted to be let into the house. The woman’s failure to comply led to the man physically pushing her.
This is the case of one Florida couple from Milton that earned Keith Johnson, battery charges. The 44-year-old is said to have pulled over to the victim’s house hoping that he could get in and get some protein treatment. However, the woman he was visiting wasn’t going to let him in, reasons for which he seemingly couldn’t understand. So, instead of Johnson complying with the desire of the woman to serve him the dish from the door, he insisted on getting a seat inside the house. He kept ringing the doorbell.
However, the woman who was not having it that day told him she did not need him in her house and suggested bringing the food out to him. The infuriated man shoved her, according to the report, after which the victim asked him to leave.
The woman also told Johnson that she was going to bring the egg rolls by the car but he would have to leave. Cops had to intervene in this case and when Johnson was questioned, he admitted to shoving the victim. However, the 44-year-old claimed the woman had slapped him before that.
The man was arrested and held at the Santa Rosa County Jail with a $500 bond and a battery charge.

In this case, a Florida man chose to steal a freaking hot air balloon from Indiana. Unlike our expectations, the man was able to escape the crowd and execute his mission successfully. However, his plans weren’t long-term after the prying eyes of the police came into the picture.
After the event, the owner of the hot air balloon noticed it was missing and informed the cops, who went searching for it. The unsuspecting thief, who was already 900 miles from his crime zone might have been confident that no one would spot him as the thief – I mean, there are many similar balloons. However, the police from Indiana and Florida were joining hands in the background to trap the thief.
So, the police from Bloomington, Indiana rang the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, informing them about the possible location of the stolen balloon – The Villages Hot Air Balloon Festival. The Sheriff’s Office posted on FaceBook announcing that they had found the grid-patterned hot air balloon in Summerfield while inspecting the balloons participating in the event. So, the thief had already seen himself as the new owner and even signed up for the balloon festival.
After recovering it, the deputies had it transported to the owner, who deflected from pressing charges. He only wanted his balloon back. The hot air balloon investigation was the first of its own kind in almost two hundred years, according to the Sheriff’s office.
