Florida Man Report – June 13
June 13 – Florida Man Steals Ambulance to Get Home After Hospital Kept Him Waiting for 2 Hours
While we thought patients work with the hospital’s conditions, a Florida man thought otherwise. After being left in waiting for two hours, the man thought he was better at home and that he would use the hospital’s means to get back there.
Danny Konieczny didn’t want to be at the hospital in the first place. He was even thinking of taking his life, probably tired of being in this world too. So, when a neighbor called the cops on him, his plans were cut short, probably making his life all the more miserable. The cops arrived at his home in the Villages, Florida upon the neighbor’s claims that he was drunk and suicidal. The man was driven to The Villages Hospital where he would undergo assessment and probably undertake therapy sessions.
It seems the hospital had a lot of deliberations to do in Konieczny’s case, making him wait for 2 hours. Well, they would have at least had a way to get the man distracted, lest he extend his suicidal thoughts during the idle waiting. After the patient thought he had waited for long enough, he decided he was going to get back to his house. Because the man had left his car home, he thought the fastest way to cover the 5.7 miles to his home was using the hospital’s ambulance.
While he had wanted to end his life, Konieczny was considerate enough to ensure the vehicle didn’t have a patient in. Sgt. Fred Jones of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office reflected on how dangerous it was for a drunkard with nothing to lose to drive an ambulance. The sergeant said he had been in his field for more than two decades yet this case was the first of its kind.
When Konieczny got home, he parked the hospital vehicle in his neighbor’s driveway because he was upset he had called the cops on him. Eventually, the man was found hiding in his car’s trunk and charged with no bond – he had been serving probation over driving when drunk charges.

June 13 – Florida Man With Clear Plastic Bag On His Head As Disguise Tries To Burglarize Gamestop
Let’s just say every kind of work in this world has its lazy type of people. A Florida man might have either seen an opportunity he didn’t want to miss or was too lazy to get a face mask. And because he wanted to appear mysterious, he chose the most ridiculous option – a transparent plastic bag he probably collected on his way to the store.
In his clever move, the man broke into a GameStop in St. Marys, Georgia in the see-through plastic bag. He might have as well worn a nametag and rummaged through the store. While it was not clear whether the man stole anything from the store, reports had it that cops didn’t immediately find him.
So, dumb as it may have appeared, the man’s sick moves might have helped him to get away. After cops learned of the scenario, they claimed they were searching for a man in similar clothes who had tried to break into a different store earlier that day. So, sick as his moves appeared, the man managed to get away with them for a while after two burglary events.
After a few days of searching, the cops caught up with the suspect whom they called a “craftily disguised gent” in a Facebook post. Authorities might have felt somewhat jeered, thinking the thief pulled such a dumb stunt on them thinking he would not be found. The cops called out the man’s lazy choice of disguise, claiming he should have had a better life of crime rather than a bag of water.
While it is hard to tell the age of people these days, the plastic bag and the man’s body size might have made him appear older than 22. But because the authorities were using more than age to track him down, the process was easy. The transparent plastic bag did nothing to hide his identity.
