May 3 – Florida Man Arrested After Causing Disturbance Outside Olive Garden and “Muttering Profanity”

Drunkenness, though an assuage to many, may bring one to do some shameless actions in front of a crowd. A Florida man found himself in trouble with law enforcement after he yelled outside an Olive Garden and shoveled spaghetti in his mouth with his hands. The shirtless man was drunk and seemingly unable to control his appetite, probably yucking the onlookers.

Cops from the Naples Police Department were dispatched after a few disturbance calls from the Olive Garden restaurant. Upon arrival at the diner, they found 32-year-old Ben Padgett on an outside bench, shirtless, and asking for money from customers. The man was also shouting with a mouthful of spaghetti at customers and uttering profane words.

The cops asked him a few questions, to which he answered without caring that he was speaking to law enforcement officers. After asking Padgett what he was doing at the bench, the man straight up said he was “muttering profanity.” And as if that had not been enough, the man went inside the restaurant yelling and walked up to the worker who had called the police on him. He threatened to “beat his a**” before asking him whether he had male sex organs.

The cops, probably thinking that enough was enough, placed the man in cuffs. But before that, they handed him a paper towel to wipe the foodstuff off his face before getting to the police station. However, Padgett started hitting his head against a metal cage and kicking his legs in the air at the back of the police car. So, the cops changed their destination and took him to the hospital for treatment. Besides disorderly intoxication charges, the man faced resisting an officer without violence before bonding out with $2,000.

May 3 – Florida Man Arrested for Hitting Pregnant Girlfriend in Face with Tortillas

The thing of hitting someone with food is by now, getting more popular than other things in Florida. Seems like men are resorting to food to show their frustration or anger, knowing that it wouldn’t be a dangerous weapon after all. However, no matter what these men use to hit their spouses with, they always end up in the police car, headed to the sheriff’s office, and having to bond out with thousands of dollars.

In this case, a man from Milton, Florida hit his pregnant girlfriend with a bag of tortillas after they got into an argument about the baby’s paternity. The woman whom he was living with told him that the baby she had in her belly wasn’t his. In short, the woman was telling her boyfriend that she had cheated on him – who ever says that to a territorial man? Rusty Beatty flared up, hitting the woman in the face with the bag of food, as stated in the arrest report from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.

A caller reported to the Sheriff’s Office a disturbance in their neighborhood in Pinto Avenue, Milton, claiming that Beatty and his girlfriend were arguing from their bedroom. When the cops arrived at the home, the man had already smashed his girlfriend’s face with the bag of tortillas and hit her daughter’s head against the wall. The woman added that the violent boyfriend later punched her daughter in the face as they were all living in the house together.

After interviewing Beatty, the cops said he claimed everyone in the house had attacked him, hitting him with a box fan. So, you wonder, was that reason enough to punch his girlfriend’s daughter in the face? When the cops inspected Beatty’s face, they noticed a few scratches but weren’t convinced that they were caused by the weapon he supposed.

Beatty was serving probation for possession of a controlled substance when the incident happened.
